Networks Connect is conducting a search on behalf of our client, a nationwide leader in employee benefits solutions. They are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support their sales team by scheduling meetings with insurance brokers and their teams. This role is crucial in driving sales opportunities, requiring strong communication skills, a background in insurance or sales, and a proactive approach to outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule multiple sales meetings per day with insurance brokers and their teams.
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to insurance professionals to coordinate and confirm appointments.
- Develop a strong understanding of worksite benefits and supplemental health insurance to engage prospects effectively.
- Track performance metrics via Zoom Phone (similar to 8x8), with success measured solely on scheduled meetings, not call volume.
- Work closely with the Senior VP of Sales to ensure seamless scheduling and sales pipeline support.
- Operate efficiently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with minimal supervision.
- Quickly learn insurance-related details to book meetings based on the company’s sales focus.
Qualifications:
- Experience in insurance sales, broker relations, or B2B sales development strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and high-volume, fast-paced environments.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage high-volume scheduling.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Located in Eastern or Central Time Zones (despite calling across the U.S.).
