Description
We are offering a contract opportunity for an bilingual Spanish Program Assistant in the non-profit industry located in Gardena, California. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be integral to the day-to-day operations of our team, responsible for providing customer service, assisting with fiscal tasks, and managing provider files.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for all customer service related queries, both internally and externally.
Support fiscal team through research, documentation and spreadsheet creation for provider garnishment processing.
Handle processing, printing, and mailing related to Stage 1 and AP providers, as well as respond to their inquiries.
Answer provider payment related calls and verify provider checks as part of the provider payment processing calling queue.
Update provider files in the internal database, especially with respect to monthly union dues.
Contribute to special projects as needed, in support of the fiscal staff.
Provide customer service to clients and stakeholders, manage correspondence, complaints, inquiries and provide solution-oriented results.
Maintain client information in the internal database and ensure its accuracy.
Carry out other related duties as assigned by the team.
Requirements - Prior experience of 1+ years as an Administrative Assistant, preferably within the Non-Profit sector.
Proficient in handling and directing inbound and outbound calls.
Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to professionally handle and resolve queries.
Demonstrated expertise in data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficient in managing email correspondence, including drafting, sending, and organizing emails.
Expertise in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Ability to efficiently schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities to manage various administrative tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interactions with team members and stakeholders.
