JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented machinery
mechanic to join our clients team. This role involves maintaining,
troubleshooting, and repairing machines to ensure smooth and efficient
operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of
mechanical systems, the ability to work with intricate parts, and
experience in preventive maintenance for both machines and general
building maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Machine Maintenance &
Repair: Analyze and diagnose issues with sewing, laser and fabric
cutting machines, including hand cutters, grommeters, and snap and rivet
machines. Perform repairs and adjustments as needed to minimize
downtime. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on
machines to ensure optimal performance, reducing the risk of breakdowns
and increasing machine longevity. Parts Management: Research, order, and
maintain a stock of parts for common machines to ensure repairs can be
made promptly. Track inventory to avoid shortages and delays. Light
Building Maintenance: Assist with basic building maintenance tasks as
required to support overall facility operations. Forklift Back-Up:
Provide support as a forklift operator when needed, ensuring materials
are moved efficiently and safely within the facility. *** OTHER
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Attention to Detail: Ability to work with
small, intricate parts and perform precise mechanical repairs.
Electrical Knowledge: Some background in electrical systems to
troubleshoot and repair machines with electrical components. Technical
Skills: Basic computer knowledge for tracking maintenance schedules,
parts ordering, and machine diagnostics. Multitasking & Prioritization:
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, with guidance from
supervisors to prioritize urgent issues. Team Player: Collaborative
attitude with the ability to work well within a team and communicate
effectively. *This role is better suited for an individual with
experience in small motor repair, office machine maintenance, or lawn
mower mechanics, rather than someone with skills typically acquired as
