Role Summary
The Account Manager is the key point person for day-to-day management and strategic planning for all Sephora Canada, Sephora Mexico, Sephora Brazil, Beautyspace, and Urban Outfitters needs. This role will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional support to their assigned accounts. This role will report into and collaborate with the Senior Account Director to drive profitability and productivity across assigned accounts.
Role + Responsibilities
- Build best-in-class and collaborative relationships with all cross-functional partners at Sephora Canada, Sephora Mexico, Sephora Brazil, Beautyspace, Urban Outfitters, and off-price
- Partner with Senior Account Director, Sephora on strategies to execute that deliver Sephora growth for assigned Sephora accounts
- Strategize and execute plans for growth with Beautyspace and Urban Outfitters
- Advocate internally for your accounts – educate and provide feedback to cross-functional teams on what works, does not work, and how to deliver unparalleled support to your distributors
- Accountable for leading all meetings for assigned accounts (virtual and in-person). Always coming prepared to present and showing up with excellence
- Provide weekly high-level business recap pulling out key metrics and important information to help story-tell the state of your accounts
- Work with Trade Marketing to ensure all Visual Merchandising updates are executed in a timely
- Build collaborative, strong, and positive relationships with internal teams (marketing, planning, education, field, PD) while developing account strategies to drive revenue
- Identify and negotiate brand growth opportunities within your distributors including but not limited to marketing levers, secondary placements, sampling, gratis, and promotions
- Collaborate with Trade Marketing on all visual merchandising, sampling, and retailer marketing needs
- Monitor and manage performance optimizing by analyzing results vs plans then create a strategy to ensure achievement of goals
- Identify sell-in opportunities by analyzing sell-through
- Partner with planning on AOP sales projections, forecasting, promotional planning, dilution planning, account risks, and overall account opportunities
- Responsible for monitoring budget, staying within budget, and presenting ROI on all investments
- In collaboration with Trade Marketing, present 360 launch strategies for Sephora Canada to internal teams for each product launch
- Own all communication with Merchant teams
- Review, analyze, and report on all campaigns and spend within your assigned accounts (sampling, promos, secondary placement)
- Partner with the Head of Sales on budget building and promotional strategies
- Strategic spending against approved retailer marketing and promotions. Document, reconcile, and ensure alignment with revenue/profitability target for all spend within accounts
- Collaborate with Field Sales and Education Director and Education and Event Manager to drive sell-through with field sales, education, and event levers
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant beauty experience
- Must be a team-player with a positive and can-do attitude
- Customer-centric to assigned accounts
- Strong project management skills, with a focus on delivering outcomes within established timelines
- Ability to excel in a remote work environment with minimal supervision, demonstrating adaptability and autonomy
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a talent for translating data insights into actionable strategies and providing key highlights
- Outstanding organizational abilities, coupled with a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Working/traveling on the weekends required as needed
- Up to 20% travel for retailer meetings, events, and offsite meetings

We disclose the compensation range for positions in compliance with local law. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, skills and in comparison, to internal incumbents currently in similar roles. Pay Range: $80,000 - $85,000 salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Wella Company's total rewards package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual bonus plan or variable pay, depending on the role.
