Qualifications\

**We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineering Associate II to
join our Buildings Group in Chicago, IL.
Job Summary:**
The Electrical Engineering Associate will perform a variety of
assignments, demonstrating increasing skills in all conventional aspects
of engineering for projects of small to moderate size and complexity.
This position performs engineering assignments by selecting and applying
standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to make adaptations and
modifications, provides facility design input, conceptualization,
Computer-aided Design and Drafting (CADD) and computer graphics,
researches, and reports preparation and construction observation
Essential Functions:
Performs moderate engineering tasks, including utilizing production
software and developing impact studies, cost analyses, and design
requirements
Leads data collection efforts
Prepares portions of project documents utilizing advanced software
and technology. Edits specifications and discipline reports. Prepare
drawings, visual aids, and presentations
Performs as-needed field reviews and observations of ongoing
construction projects to gain increased understanding of
construction practices and design applications
Performs research and investigations to support development of
proposed engineering applications
Remains knowledgeable of all applicable federal, state, and local
codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances that are pertinent to
respective discipline
Performs all other duties as assigned and within scope of practice
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited
university
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
Proficient in production software and construction document production
Must possess strong oral and written communications skills
Must have the ability to effectively interact\
