Primary Purpose: Provide clerical services and ensure efficient operation of the Athletics Department and sporting events.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: High School diploma or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills: Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills Effective organizational and computer skills. Ability to re-direct, multi-task, and willingness to learn new things.
Experience: One to three years clerical experience, preferred.
Major Responsibilities and Duties: Assist Athletics Department in daily operation duties. Demonstrate a positive and impartial attitude to parents, teachers, students and other EISD staff in all communications. Answer and route calls, take messages. Collaborate with vendors and campus staff to support the needs of the Athletics Department. Schedule and maintain calendars for all athletic events and use of athletic facilities. Oversee practice, game, and light schedules. Calendar and maintain records of all workout and game, meet and/or match schedules. Maintain list of coaches, contact information and assigned duties. Communicate with coaches as needed. Maintain and manage athletic keys. Enter and monitor work orders and facility requests, communicating with MandO and other departments to facilitate completion and problem solve conflicts. Work collaboratively with ticketing system to build and manage the box office for all ticketed athletic events. Responsible for overseeing and managing the Hometown Ticketing system. Work all Varsity home football games through the first quarter. Be responsible for a variety of game day tasks such as the press box script and materials, lost and found, gate passes and VIP tickets, troubleshoot issues as they arise, etc. Facilitate youth football night and manage run across field event. Coordinate, schedule and manage game-day workers for athletic events. Submit supplemental paysheets for game-day workers. Support Administrative Assistant with bookkeeping duties as needed. Schedule and manage travel and transportation arrangements for team travel. Support the execution of Media Day. Coordinate philanthropic donations made to the athletics department. Coordinate and oversee NLI signing day preparation and event.
