Adecco Staffing is working with a local manufacturing client in Rutland, VT who is looking to fill an Electrical Engineer position. This is a direct hire position.
Essential Job Duties & Key Responsibilities
Review and validate electrical system designs and requirements of the customer.
Manage assigned electrical engineering projects and ensure they are completed on time.
Collaborate with mechanical and manufacturing engineers to ensure the proper production and function ofproducts.
Utilize technical, analytical, and critical thinking skills to assess and resolve or improve the design of aproduct.
Assist manufacturing operations and maintenance with equipment and process issues.
Manage internal and customer generated Engineering Change Orders (ECO's), as required.
Produce proto@types and early-stage production units to validate the design and manufacturability of theproduct.
Develop and produce test fixtures and gauges, as required.
Work directly with vendors and the Purchasing Department to source components and outside services.
Collaborate regularly with Engineering Manager, Customer Relationship Managers, and customers on projects.
Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives within the business.
Assist with the training of production team members, as products and fixtures are released to the floor.
Education
A bachelor's or associate degree in electrical engineering, or significant prior professional experience.
Experience and Certifications
A minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Prior experience with the design and manufacturing of electromechanical products.
Experience working in a contract manufacturing organization is a plus.
Knowledge of the design of electrical schematics / circuits.
Hands on PLC programming.
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and other team members.
Ability to communicate concisely with excellent written and verbal skills.
Proficiency with software systems including MS Office, MRP, and other business-related systems.
Knowledge of ISO quality systems and procedures.
Self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks.
Proactive, solutions oriented.
High energy and positive attitude with a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and help to get things done as required

Pay Details: $90,000.00 per year
