Job Title: Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role requires proficiency in QuickBooks for accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks, along with payroll responsibilities. Training will be provided for payroll if needed. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and familiarity with Adobe. Construction experience is beneficial, but not mandatory if you are eager to learn. We offer medical insurance, AFLAC, Simple IRA, and paid time off.
Responsibilities
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable using QuickBooks.
Perform payroll duties, with training provided if necessary.
Utilize Microsoft Office and Adobe for various administrative tasks.
Communicate effectively via telephone and email.
Organize files and maintain a clean workspace.
Visit the Post Office and Bank daily for company errands.
Participate in weekly meetings with owners and provide daily updates to the office manager.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in QuickBooks for AR and AP.
Experience or willingness to learn payroll.
Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good communication skills via telephone and email.
Organizational skills for filing and office maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with Adobe.
Construction experience is a plus, but not required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
