We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing data entry tasks, including order entry, into company databases. This role requires a high level of accuracy and efficiency in transcribing information from various sources and maintaining both electronic and physical files.
Responsibilities
Perform data entry tasks, including order entry, into company databases.
Organize and maintain electronic and physical files.
Transcribe information from various sources accurately and efficiently.
Collect data from different departments or sources and input it into spreadsheets or databases.
Assist with basic math calculations and data analysis, including the use of Excel and pivot tables.
Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
Take paper logs and enter them into spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy.
Process daily production logs and enter them into spreadsheets, handling 10-30 sheets a day.
Essential Skills
Microsoft Excel: 3 years of experience
Proven experience in data entry or a similar clerical role
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Ability to transcribe information accurately and efficiently
Basic math skills for calculations and data analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with PDF - Adobe
Typing speed of 40 WPM - Tested
Work Environment
Job Type: Part-Time with potential transition to full-time. Schedule: Monday to Friday with flexible start and end times while part-time, working 20-30 hours per week initially with potential to expand up to 40 hours per week. Work Location: In person.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
