Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting customized training services and ensuring smooth administrative operations. The ideal candidate will excel in managing course registrations, maintaining accurate records, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Process registrations for customized training services, ensuring students are enrolled accurately and all necessary information is provided to customers.
Create and maintain course schedules in the student records system, ensuring accurate listings, timely cancellations, and efficient refund processing.
Provide clerical support for open enrollment and contract classes, including document preparation and data management.
Respond promptly to inquiries from customers and coworkers, offering guidance and resolving issues with professionalism.
Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to prepare reports, correspondence, and schedules.
Manage inbound and outbound calls, email correspondence, and appointment scheduling to support daily operations.
Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain student records and compile reports.
Assist in additional administrative tasks as assigned to ensure the department runs smoothly and maintains a positive reputation. Requirements - Proven experience in data entry, with the ability to maintain accurate records and verify information. - Strong customer service skills, including prompt and courteous communication to address inquiries and resolve issues. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint for document preparation and data management. - Solid understanding of basic math to perform calculations and compare pricing. - Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute with minimal errors; a typing test may be required before the interview. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. - Experience managing inbound and outbound calls and scheduling appointments.
