Administrative Assistant - Chattanooga, TN
This is a non-exempt position.
Responsible for providing administrative support to the facility. Duties include clerical, data entry, project based work and other duties. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.
Duties include but not limited to:
Process payroll information (includes attendance and vacation tracking)
HR assistance for hourly employees (setting up interviews, new employee orientation / on-boarding, records retention, drug screening)
Perform general clerical duties to include but not limit to:
Photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing, scanning and shredding documents.
Researching variances in production records and various expense tracking used to support plant management team
Inventory control and management
Create purchase requisitions for payables
Research payable issues to remedy vendor concerns
Assist with maintenance purchasing / receiving
Backup administrative support for the commercial team
Answer phone and transfer as needed to appropriate staff member
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
Prior administrative experience with HR roles preferred
Oral and written communication skills
Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft office
IBM, Coupa, Maximo, etc
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Job requirements:
Must be able to work well with others
Focused on day to day operations
Willingness to adapt to changing workload priorities
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented environment

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
