The Office of Public Works, Engineering Division is seeking an
individual to perform administrative and technical work of a
professional nature in connection with land surveying and asset data
collection projects. Assist the Engineering Division in the completion
of surveying functions and right-of-way plat, plan preparation and
review right-of-way plats and plans prepared by consultants. Research
and maintain City right-of-way, easements, agreements and various GIS
layers. Perform field surveys with the Global Positioning System (GPS)
equipment, levels, and Total Station equipment. May act, direct, control
or supervise land surveying activities performed by consultants. Track
right-of-way vacations, water service agreements, annexations and
annexation agreements. Review right-of-way plats, final plats,
easements, and legal descriptions.
