Head of Digital Transformation – Presales & Insurance Domain
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead digital transformation initiatives with a strong focus on presales and expertise in the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will spearhead the development of innovative digital strategies, lead presales activities, and drive technology-enabled solutions to transform the insurance landscape. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, technical acumen, and customer engagement expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Digital Transformation Leadership
- Define and execute the digital transformation roadmap for the organization, particularly in the insurance domain.
- Drive the adoption of emerging technologies like AI, ML, RPA, Blockchain, and Cloud to enhance business processes and customer experiences.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify pain points and implement tech-driven solutions.
- Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Presales Management
- Lead the presales function by crafting compelling digital solutions and proposals that align with client needs.
- Develop and present business cases, ROI analyses, and solution demonstrations to prospects.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams to create winning proposals and RFP responses.
- Build and manage strong client relationships during the presales phase.
- Insurance Domain Expertise
- Stay abreast of trends and regulations in the insurance industry, ensuring solutions are compliant and innovative.
- Develop domain-specific strategies, including customer journey transformation, underwriting automation, claims optimization, and risk analytics.
- Serve as a thought leader in insurance, delivering insights to clients and internal teams.
- Stakeholder Management
- Engage with C-level executives, business leaders, and technology teams to align digital strategies with business goals.
- Partner with external vendors, consultants, and ecosystem partners to enhance solution capabilities.
- Team Development
- Build and mentor a high-performing digital transformation team.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing within the organization.
- Provide training and upskilling opportunities to enhance team competencies in presales and insurance technologies.
Qualifications And Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in digital transformation, presales, or consulting roles.
- Proven track record of implementing technology solutions in the insurance domain.
- Strong expertise in presales processes, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of insurance core systems (e.g., Policy Admin, Claims Management, Underwriting).
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms (e.g., CRM, AI/ML frameworks, RPA, data analytics).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
