Role Overview
The EUC Engineer will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to end users, including installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment. The role is onsite and demands strong customer service skills, technical proficiency, and problem-solving capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desktop support for hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, MS Office, and other enterprise applications.
- Manage user accounts, profiles, and access permissions in Active Directory.
- Set up and support printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
- Handle software and hardware deployment, upgrades, and patch management.
- Provide support for video conferencing, VoIP, and remote access solutions (VPN, Citrix, etc.).
- Maintain documentation related to incidents, changes, and procedures.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in EUC/Desktop/IT Support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, and standard desktop applications.
- Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and basic networking.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
- Experience with SCCM or other software deployment tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Certifications (Nice To Have)
- CompTIA A+ / Network+ / Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
- ITIL Foundation Certification
