Job Description
Dewberry is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer or Senior Instrumentation and
Control (I&C) Engineer to serve as our National Water Electrical,
Instrumentation & Control (E&IC) Leader within our Water Market
Segment to support growth of Dewberry's water practice nationally.
The role will primarily focus on leading the successful execution of EI&C
design work on water and wastewater projects nationally. Dewberry's MEPS
Infrastructure team has several E&IC engineers that focus on the
water/wastewater space and the purpose of this role entails the following:
Client engagement, representing EI&C for water clients working along side
our water/wastewater client managers
Workload coordination for all Water EI&C work nationally (coordinating
between offices and with the MEPS Infrastructure team)
Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)
Standards development to ensure consistent deliverables nationally
The successful candidate should have experience specifying, designing, and
implementing electrical power systems and/or process instrumentation and
control systems. Experience in water/wastewater (W/WW) is preferred
however industrial, chemical, and mining experience is acceptable. The
successful candidate should also have strong management experience with proven
success overseeing staff and teams delivering multiple concurrent W/WW
EI&C designs, as well as strong client engagement expertise.

Responsibilities
Provide electrical power system and instrumentation/control system
engineering oversight and design for W/WW projects.
Overseemultiple concurrent design projects and manage junior engineers to
execute projects.
Coordinate EI&C workload for W/WW projects nationally, working with
project managers and design teams, along with the MEPS Infrastructure
team, to successfully deliver EI&C design work.
Design opportunities included low voltage electrical power distribution,
motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout and related
activities.
Provide EI&C specifications, drawings, and cost estimates.
Review and approve contractor submittals.
Coordinate with process engineers and develop Process and Instrumentation
Diagrams (P&IDs).
Execute redline markups from engineers.
Sizing conduit and wire, laying out electrical distribution equipment, and
designing lighting systems as well as loop sheets, control single lines,
