About The Role:
The Crowd is excited to be partnering with a leading design practice known for shaping meaningful public spaces through landscape architecture, urban design, and planning. With a collaborative, creative, and down-to-earth studio culture, this team is looking to bring on a Marketing Assistant to support its New York City office.
This is a great opportunity to join a growing team at an exciting moment of evolution. You’ll play a key role in supporting proposals, marketing collateral, and storytelling efforts — helping shape how the studio shares its work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and confident managing deadlines independently while also working closely with internal teams and leadership.
If you’re a strong communicator who enjoys working in a fast-paced, creative environment — and you’re excited about public space, design, and storytelling — this could be a great fit. This firm offers standout benefits including profit sharing, ESOP contributions, bonuses, full medical coverage, PTO, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help create proposals, qualifications packages, and marketing materials in response to RFQs, RFPs, and award opportunities
- Coordinate with principals, project managers, and firmwide marketing staff to gather content and manage submissions
- Keep track of upcoming deadlines, organize leads, and maintain archives of past marketing work and project data
- Take ownership of submission timelines and delivery — often with very quick turnarounds
- Support writeups, presentations, and BD efforts across a range of public realm projects
Key Skills/Requirements:
- 2–5 years of marketing and proposals experience, ideally in a design, AEC, or creative industry
- Strong InDesign skills — you’re comfortable creating clean, clear layouts that tell a compelling story
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at once
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal — you’re confident interacting with leadership and collaborators
- Interest in public space, urban design, or sustainability is a plus
