Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our client's warehouse team. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate records, coordinating logistics documentation, and providing administrative support to ensure a smooth workflow within the warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with managing inbound and outbound shipments and coordinate with suppliers and vendors as needed.
Generate bills of lading (BOL's) for outbound shipments.
Match vendor invoices with receiving paperwork and maintain inventory records, shipping logs, and receiving documentation.
Track and report on order statuses, inventory discrepancies, and backorders.
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding shipping, inventory, and warehouse processes.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders in the warehouse management system.
Provide administrative support to warehouse staff and management, including filing, data entry, and report generation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
5+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of DOT, HAZMAT shipping & receiving programs (IATA, CFR 49, FEDEX and UPS systems).
Experience working with 3M logistics preferred: Citrix (ASN's), 3M Transportation Portal, 3M BOL's.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and warehouse/inventory software (e.g., WMS, ERP).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits & Salary:
The salary range for this position is $47K-55K
