The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position SummaryThe clinical research aide will perform a variety of research duties in support of funded studies related to maternal-child health. The responsibilities for the position include: recruiting study participants, screening potential participants to determine eligibility, maintaining communication with participant families, coordinating study visits, administering clinical, physiologic, and neuropsychological assessments, tracking and entering data into databases, assisting with MRI scans of women and infants, and tracking and updating the IRB protocol.The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a research team, and an interest in learning new skills and technologies and willingness to be trained in phlebotomy and biospecimen collection.ResponsibilitiesWill assist with the recruiting and screening of study participants.Assist in the coordination and administration of study visit protocols (e.g., physiological, neuropsychological and behavioral assessments). Process and clean behavioral, physiological, or neuroimaging date.Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree with emphasis on neuroscience and behavior, psychology. Preferred QualificationsEarly childhood/pregnant women research or clinical experience.Other RequirementsMust successfully complete all online systems training requirements. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, experience with data coding, and proficiency in MS Excel and Word.Spanish language fluency is requiredA two-year commitment to the position is required.
