This position serves as the Software Management Manager for the
Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT),directing, coordinating,
and monitoring section activities to ensure the best hardware and
software solutions for use by clients. In this role, you will serve as a
working supervisor within the Midrange Systems Operations section. In
addition, you will serve as lead on major IT procurements coordinating
evaluations and acquisitions of new software for the installation for
client access.
Essential Functions
Under administrative direction, serves as the Software Management
Manager for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT),
directing, coordinating, and monitoring section activities to ensure
the best hardware and software solutions for use by clients.
Serves as working supervisor.
Coordinates in-depth enterprise-wide IT management studies involving
extensive technical research and systems analysis and assists the
Midrange Systems Operations Manager in planning, developing,
evaluating, and justifying operational activities.
Directs the analysis of performance reports, activity data, and
exception reports to determine solutions required to resolve
problems or deliver the levels of service necessary to help agencies
meet their goals.
Serves as lead on major IT procurements coordinating evaluations and
acquisitions of new software for the installation for client access.
Performs all other duties as required or assigned that are
reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
