What the day will look like
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to a team of colleagues within a workgroup, practice area, or client team. Support ranges from clerical and logistical matters to document production and the effective use of office applications.
This individual responds promptly, thoughtfully, and effectively to changing work environments, changing priorities, and new situations. Additionally, possesses the skills and ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with internal resources, client (where applicable), and other parties in a global and virtual working environment. The Administrative Assistant is integral to the efficient workflow within the office environment.
While no two days will look the same, a typical day can / will include:
Displays excellent customer service skills and exceptional attention to detail
Superior writing skills-grammar, punctuation, spelling, and proofreading
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Daily interaction with claims staff and management, coordinating projects and working independently; seeks out answers to questions, takes initiative, leverages network of resources to solve problems,
Helping others understand or attain support with technology or facility requirements
Providing backup assistance to other administrative assistants
Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
Email management
Handling daily correspondence and invoices
Sorting and organizing all mail and faxes

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $56,900-$70,500 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
