Electrical Foreman
Responsibilities:
Lead commercial electrical construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
Order materials, manage manpower, and schedule inspections.
Perform hands-on electrical work to ensure installations and repairs comply with NEC standards.
Supervise crews and serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with electrical codes and construction practices.
Plan layout, installation, and repairs of wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.
Install system components and wiring in compliance with the NEC and NFPA.
Prepare sketches or follow diagrams or blueprints for wiring and equipment installation.
Install electrical conduit using tools such as hacksaw, pipe threader, and conduit bender.
Pull wiring through conduit and splice wires.
Connect wiring to control and distribution apparatus.
Test circuit continuity to ensure electrical compatibility and safety.
Observe functioning of installed equipment or systems and make necessary adjustments.
Repair faulty equipment or systems when needed.
Assess and adjust priorities to meet project requirements and objectives.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in schematic and blueprint reading.
Expertise in conduit bending and electrical wiring.
Experience with commercial construction and troubleshooting.
Ability to pull wire and run conduit.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience planning new or modified installations with a focus on minimizing material waste.
Ability to ensure concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
