Our client, a well-established and reputable organization in the non-profit industry is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their team. This position provides a fantastic opportunity to support key operations while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be the backbone of the office, supporting daily operations and ensuring that the team can function efficiently and effectively. You'll take on a variety of tasks, from scheduling appointments to coordinating communication and managing critical administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
Manage correspondence, answer phone calls, and handle incoming and outgoing mail.
Coordinate and manage meetings, events, and travel arrangements for team members or executives.
Draft, edit, and format documents, reports, and presentations with attention to detail.
Maintain and organize files, databases, spreadsheets, and records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Assist with project coordination, office supply inventory, and general office maintenance as needed.
Greet visitors, answer inquiries, and provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in an administrative or office support role.
Exceptional organizational skills with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with additional office technologies or tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
High level of discretion and confidentiality in managing sensitive information.
A proactive mindset with a strong attention to detail and solution-driven approach.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the non-profit industry is a plus.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
