Compensation: $45,000 yearly base +$15,000 total yearly performance bonus (paid biannually upon meeting targets)

Position OverviewAs an SDR at Envoya, you’ll be on the frontline of our partner outreach, identifying, qualifying, and connecting with potential clients in biotech and pharma. You’ll leverage CRM tools to execute high-volume outreach, qualify prospects based on their scientific needs and budget, and schedule meetings for our senior sales and technical teams. This role requires a blend of biology/biotech knowledge and strong communication skills to credibly explain Envoya’s cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect & Outreach: Research leads, create targeted outreach sequences via CRM tools like HubSpot and Apollo, and manage inbound inquiries.
- Qualify Leads: Conduct lead discovery, assessing prospect fit—especially regarding scientific needs, budget, and decision-making authority.
- Meeting Coordination: Secure appointments for the sales team, ensuring the handoff process is seamless and the sales team is well-informed.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and deal stages in our HubSpot CRM; keep track of weekly and monthly progress and dashboards.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with marketing to refine email campaigns; partner with technical teams to stay updated on product breakthroughs.
- Leverage AI Tools: Use AI-driven prompts to personalize outreach and iterate on messaging for different customer segments.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed on gene therapy trends, polymer nanoparticle advances, and Envoya’s evolving product suite.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related fields is required.
- Sales/Customer-Facing Experience: Prior exposure to sales, telemarketing, customer outreach, lead development, or another SDR role is required.
- Biotech Knowledge: Comfortable conversing about basic gene therapy concepts and scientific methods.
- CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with HubSpot, Apollo, Salesforce or similar CRM platforms strongly preferred; effective record-keeping skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written/spoken English; able to adapt messaging for diverse audiences at different seniority levels.
- Remote Work Readiness: Ability to work remotely and coordinate occasional visits to Natick, MA (if feasible).
- Goal Orientation: Motivated to meet or exceed weekly and monthly outreach and meeting-scheduling targets.
