[Were seeking skilled Highway Lighting and Traffic Signal Technicians to join our team!
If youre experienced in the installation and maintenance of highway lighting, traffic signals, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), wed love to talk. Our Signal Technicians are safety-focused and committed to ensuring efficient, high-quality work. This role involves hands-on work with a dedicated team[to build and maintain crucial infrastructure across Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety First: Maintain a secure worksite, read and coordinate utility locates, and ensure safety standards are strictly followed.
Installation and Maintenance: Install underground conduit, poles, lighting systems, traffic signals, and ITS infrastructure.
Crew Leadership: Guide crew members by assigning tasks, ensuring job readiness, and troubleshooting equipment.
Record-Keeping: Accurately document personnel, production, and equipment details on required forms and systems.
Quality Control: Estimate resources, oversee the teams work, and handle troubleshooting to uphold project standards.
Requirements:
Experience: in highway lighting and traffic signal installation; recent experience in signage/lighting erection is a plus.
Licensing: Valid Class C drivers license. CDL will be highly valued.
Certification: IMSA Level 2 Certification (a plus).
Proficiency in using and maintaining heavy equipment like backhoes and boom trucks.
Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
Clear, effective communication for guiding crew members and ensuring safety compliance.
Basic math skills for accurate project measurements and estimations.
